A vCard (a file with a .vcf extension) is a digital business card that you can share with other people as you would a paper business card. A vCard can contain one or many contacts in a single file. If you receive a vCard attached to an email message, you can save the contents of the vCard as contacts. vCards must have the .vcf extension to be imported.

Open the message that contains the vCard attachment. vCards always have the .vcf file name extension.

Double-click the attachment.
The vCard opens in a Contacts window.

On the Contact tab, click Save & Close.
If the vCard has multiple contacts, only the first contact will appear in the window in Outlook. However, each contact in the vCard will be saved individually.
Tip: If the vCard is saved on your computer (for example, on your Desktop) instead of attached to a message, you can also double-click it to open it. If the vCard does not open in Outlook, Ctrl+click or right-click the file, point to Open With, and then click Microsoft Outlook.
Outlook for Mac does not currently support bulk importing of multiple individual vCard files nor .csv files. Features and compatibility are always being evaluated by the application developers.
