As you're getting your Microsoft 365 business subscription set up, you'll want to download and install your Microsoft 365 apps, like Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint, on your PC or Mac. Go to microsoft365.com and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.

Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Under Choose where to get apps, select one of the available options. To stop seeing app recommendations, select either Allow apps from anywhere or Turn off app recommendations (options vary by Windows version).

The authenticator app asks for a verification code as a test. From the Microsoft Authenticator app, scroll down to your work or school account, copy and paste the 6-digit code from the app into the Step 2: Enter the verification code from the mobile app box on your computer, and then select Verify.
