To capture someone's attention in an email or meeting invite, type the @ symbol followed by their name within the message or invite. Doing so will highlight their name and prompt Outlook to add them to the To line, ensuring they notice, and add the @ symbol next to their message in the Inbox.

If you're trying to add your Outlook.com account to Outlook or another mail app, you might need the POP, IMAP, or SMTP settings. You can find them below or by viewing them in your Outlook.com settings.

Applies To. Message recall is available after you select Send and is available only if both you and the recipient have a Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Exchange email account in the same organization. Messages sent to or from a Hotmail, Gmail, or live.com account can't be recalled.

Applies To. You can block messages from specific email addresses or domains from reaching your inbox. When you add an email address or domain to your blocked senders list, Outlook automatically moves messages from that sender to the Junk Email folder.

To get someone's attention in a channel conversation or a chat, @mention them. Just type @ before their name and then select them from the menu that appears. When an @mention recipient receives a notification, selecting it takes them directly to the point in the conversation where they were mentioned.

While composing a message, select the dropdown next to Send and select Schedule send. Select one of the default options, then select Send or choose a custom time and then select Send. After you select Send, the message remains in the Draft folder until the delivery time.
