Create a Microsoft Team from SharePoint. Applies To. Add real-time chat, virtual meeting capabilities, and extended collaboration features to your SharePoint team site by adding Microsoft Teams. Team sites that are connected to a Microsoft 365 group in SharePoint can easily add Microsoft Teams.

To add a new or existing OneNote notebook to a channel in Microsoft Teams, select Add a tab at the top of the channel and select OneNote. From there, choose an option: To start from scratch, select Create a new notebook, add a name to the Notebook name field, and click Save.

When you upload a file to Teams, you can share it anytime with other people and groups. To share a file in Teams for desktop: Select OneDrive in Teams. Go to My files . Hover over the file you want to share and select Share . Select Copy link to get a link you can paste into chat or email.

To disable all attendee mics or cameras. In the meeting controls, select More actions > Settings > Meeting options . Select Audio & video . Turn off the Allow mic for attendees or Allow camera for attendees toggles. Select Save. Attendee mics and cameras will appear dimmed.
