Activate Microsoft 365 or a non-subscription version of Office. When you start an Microsoft 365 app that's not activated, you'll be prompted to sign in to Microsoft 365. Be sure to sign in using the Microsoft account, or work or school account, that you used to buy or subscribe to Microsoft 365.

Where to enter your Office product key - Microsoft Support
If your purchase of Office or Microsoft 365 came with a product key, you enter your product key on one of the websites listed below for your product. Using the Windows Activation troubleshooter - Microsoft Support
If you're unable to activate Windows 11, the Activation troubleshooter could help. To use the troubleshooter, select Start > Settings > System > Activation , and then select Troubleshoot . Open Troubleshoot settings. You must be signed in as an administrator to use this option.
