An Incoming webhook lets external applications share content in chats and channels in Microsoft Teams. Webhooks are used as tools to track and notify. You can post to a channel or chat when a webhook request is received.

Enter your poll question in the Poll app followed by at least two choices for answers. You can add as many as 10 choices to a poll. Set a due date for the poll and restrict who can see poll results in Settings. When you are done, click Send Poll to publish your poll.

As a meeting presenter, you can use Microsoft Forms to create polls before your Microsoft Teams meeting, then launch them during it so attendees from any endpoint (mobile, web, desktop) can view and answer. When you launch your poll, it will pop up on attendees' meeting screens as well as in the meeting chat.

Bots can contribute to channel and group chat conversations, such as providing important updates or helping a team organize its work. Typically, you or someone else @mentions a bot to interact with it, but some bots can play a more proactive role in conversations.

With Microsoft Power Automate, you can create a flow for Microsoft Forms that performs one or more tasks automatically after it's triggered by an event. In the following scenario, you're putting together an event, but need to gauge who plans to join online versus attend in person.

1. To create a Survey, click Menu ("…") below the box where you type your message. If Survey isn’t in the Suggestions section, search for it in the Find an app search bar or select More apps to find it in the Apps directory. 2. Enter a title for your survey, then use Add Question to type in survey questions.

Block or remove a bot in Microsoft Teams. To stop a bot from participating in a one-on-one chat, first find the chat name in your chat list, then click More options > Mute. If you want to remove a bot entirely from a channel, find the channel name, then click More options > Manage team.

If you encrypt an Outlook message that contains voting buttons, message recipients won't be able to see them. That feature isn't supported at this time. Create an email message or reply to or forward a message that you received. On the Options tab, in the Tracking group, click Use Voting Buttons.
