If you're trying to add your Outlook.com account to Outlook or another mail app, you might need the POP, IMAP, or SMTP settings. You can find them below or by viewing them in your Outlook.com settings.. Outlook and Outlook.com may be able to detect your account's mailbox settings automatically, but for other non-Microsoft accounts, you may need to contact your email provider for their settings.

For new Outlook: use @ in the body of a message or meeting invite. In the body of the email message or calendar invite, enter the @ symbol and the first few letters of the contact's first or last name.

To get someone's attention in a channel conversation or a chat, @mention them. Just type @ before their name and then select them from the menu that appears.. When an @mention recipient receives a notification, selecting it takes them directly to the point in the conversation where they were mentioned.
