Add your work or school account to the Microsoft Authenticator app
Sign in on a remote computer. Many apps allow you to authenticate by entering a code on another device such as a PC. If you want to sign in on a remote computer to install the Authenticator app, follow these steps. Open the Authenticator app, and then select > Add work or school account > Sign in.
Manually add an account to the Microsoft Authenticator app
Open the Authenticator app, select Add account from the Customize and control icon in the upper-right, select Other account (Google, Facebook, etc.), and then select OR ENTER CODE MANUALLY. Enter an Account name (for example, Google) and type the Secret key from Step 1, and then select Finish.
