Outlook add-ins provide solutions to help you better interact with Outlook and complete tasks on your messages and appointments without leaving Outlook. Some add-ins are installed by your email administrator, but you can install other ones from the Office Store. Select a tab option below for the version of Outlook you're using.

Add-ins in Outlook.com are programs or utilities that help you automate tasks when you view or create messages. Microsoft has partnered with leading companies to build add-ins that help you get things done right from your inbox.

In Outlook, click File > Manage Add-ins. In Outlook Web App, click Settings > Manage add-ins. Under Manage add-ins, in the Turned on column, select the check box for the add-in you want to enable. Learn how to enable an app for Outlook.

In order to use the features enabled by your assigned Copilot license, you'll need to switch to Current Channel or the Monthly Enterprise Channel. For assistance with getting your device moved to the correct Microsoft 365 update channel, contact your internal help desk or technical support.

Sign in to SharePoint. SharePoint is a browser-based app that you connect to through your web browser, like so: Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > SharePoint.

Get an Office Store add-in. On the Insert tab, look for the Add-ins group. To get new add-ins, select Get Add-ins. To use add-ins you already have, select My Add-ins.

Add-ins provide optional commands and features for Microsoft Excel. By default, add-ins are not immediately available in Excel, so you must first install and (in some cases) activate these add-ins so that you can use them. Some add-ins are built in to Excel, such as Solver and the Analysis ToolPak.

Select the Start button, enter snipping tool, then select Snipping Tool from the results. Press Windows logo key + Shift + S for a static image snip. Press Print Screen (PrtSc) for a static image snip. Press Windows logo key + Shift + R for a video snip. Work with your screenshots.

Add or load a PowerPoint add-in. Add-ins are supplemental programs that add custom commands or custom features to Office programs. You can obtain add-ins for PowerPoint at Popular Office downloads or on third-party vendor websites.
