The Microsoft Authenticator app helps you sign into your accounts when you're using two-step verification.

Open the app, go to the app's top-level menu, and then select Send feedback. After that, contact Support or go to the Microsoft Authenticator app forum and explain the problem you're seeing and the steps you tried.

Microsoft 365 subscriptions purchased from the app will be charged to your iTunes account and will automatically renew within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period, unless auto-renewal is disabled beforehand.

Before you can use Authenticator as a way to sign in, you need to download the app and have already added Authenticator to your accounts. Starting July 2025, the autofill feature in Authenticator will stop working, and from August 2025, passwords will no longer be accessible in Authenticator.

With a non-qualifying plan, you don't have access to the app's extra features, but you can do the following: Create and view files. Do basic editing (for non-business accounts and files). Without a subscription, you'll see a message to purchase the subscription when accessing a premium feature.
