Cast to a display from a Windows PC. You can wirelessly connect your PC to a TV, projector, or other kind of external display that supports Miracast. Turn on your TV, projector, or other display. If you're using a Miracast dongle or adapter, make sure it's plugged in to the display.

If you run into problems trying to connect to a Bluetooth device, here are some troubleshooting steps to try. Note: For general info about how to connect a Bluetooth device to your PC, see Pair a Bluetooth device in Windows.

Remove or block notifications in Edge settings. In Edge, go to Settings and more in the upper right corner of your browser window. Select Settings > Cookies and site permissions and select Notifications. Under Allow, you will find a list of websites that are currently sending you notifications.

Codecs allow you to play different formats of audio and video files. Media Player supports a wide variety of codecs. Most are included out of the box; some additional codecs can be installed from the Microsoft Store.

Pair a Bluetooth device in Windows. You can pair all kinds of Bluetooth devices with your PC—including keyboards, mice, phones, speakers, and a whole lot more. To do this, your PC needs to have Bluetooth. Some PCs, such as laptops and tablets, have Bluetooth built in.

If you upgraded your device from Windows 10 to Windows 11, these steps help you enable virtualization. Note: Many Windows devices already have virtualization enabled, so you might not need to follow these steps. Before you begin, determine your device model and manufacturer.

When your camera isn't working in Windows 11, it might be missing drivers after a recent update. It's also possible that your antivirus program is blocking the camera, your privacy settings don't allow camera access for some apps, or there's a problem with the app you want to use.

If you see a list of Android devices, choose the one you wish to pair with Phone Link to access your favorite apps, respond to texts, make calls, view photos, and more from your PC. Grant permissions on the Link to Windows app on your Android device. You are all set to use Phone Link.

To find relevant files from your PC and the cloud, search from File Explorer Home. Note: Sign in to your cloud account (s) from Start > Settings > Accounts to enable cloud search. File Explorer has a new, streamlined context menu, making it easier to get to popular commands.
