First time, infrequent senders, or senders marked [External] - While it's not unusual to receive an email or Teams message from someone for the first time, especially if they are outside your organization, this can be a sign of phishing.

From your console, they'll need to press the Xbox button to open the guide, then go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features. Turn off Enable remote features. Once they've done that, they won't be able to access your console remotely.

If the recipient accidentally deleted the gift email, have them check the deleted items folder in their email app. If it’s not there, the giver can email the code by following the steps listed in “The recipient never got the gift” above.

To fix the issue: Set up a new passkey. Check the authenticator app on your mobile device for any passkeys that no longer apply and delete them. "Sign in another way. We couldn't use your device to verify your identity" message.

Use a 5 GHz network when connecting your devices wirelessly (you may see interference on a 2.4 GHz network). If you have a dual-band router, you may need to enable or separate the 5 GHz signal, then make sure your devices are all connected to this same signal.
