Find IME settings in Windows 11. Select Start , then select Settings > Time & language > Language & region. In the Japanese row, select > Language options. In the Microsoft IME. row, select > Keyboard options. Note: You can also search “Japanese IME settings” in the Search on the taskbar.

Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region. Choose a language from the Add a language list under Preferred languages, and then select Options. Select Download from the Download language pack option. After the language pack is installed, select Back.

Use the Add a language feature to install another language for Windows 11 to view menus, dialog boxes, and supported apps and websites in that language. To do this: Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region. Go to Preferred languages, select Add a language.

In the Translate to dropdown, choose the language you want the page translated into. The default is the language you've set for Microsoft Edge. To translate the page, click Translate. To always automatically translate from the source language, select the Always translate from [Language] check box.

Click the language icon on the Language bar, which should appear on your task bar near where the clock is, and then click the language that you want to use. Keyboard shortcut: To switch between keyboard layouts, press Alt+Shift. Note: The icon is just an example; it shows that English is the language of the active keyboard layout.

To reduce disk space requirements in Windows 10 and improve installation time, language packs have been split into language components and Features on Demand v2 (Capabilities). Language components include the user interface text for that language and basic Cortana capabilities.

You can add an input language in Settings. Adding an input language lets you set a language-preference order for websites and apps. It also lets you change your keyboard language. Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region.
