In the message input area, type a message, and then press the Enter key on your keyboard. You can tell when the other person is responding when a message appears above the message input area that tells you the person is typing a message.

Install, manage, or uninstall apps in Microsoft Edge
Each of your apps is presented by a card where you can view app details and manage app actions such as pinning, privacy controls and app uninstallation. Open Microsoft Edge. If the web application is a PWA, Microsoft Edge will prompt you with the possibility of installing the application.

Send and receive SMS in Microsoft Teams
Teams lets you send and receive SMS messages from your desktop or mobile device. This is currently available to calling plan users in the United States and Canada. Note: SMS is enabled in the Teams admin settings. If you're unable to use SMS, please contact your administrator. From your list of chats, select New message .

Chat with others in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support
Compose your message in the box at the bottom of the chat. To open formatting options, select Format to the right of your message. When your message is ready, select Send or press Enter to start the chat. You can also start a one-on-one chat from someone's profile card.
