What sources do we use for health information?

How do we provide health information in different languages?

In some cases, Microsoft sources information in English from third parties and translates it to another language through automated means. Microsoft also uses information from market-specific health and medical websites where appropriate. Because medical and health rules and guidance may vary from region to region, translations of medical and health information should be used as a reference, not as medical advice. You should consult a medical professional in your region for specific guidance about a medical concern or medication. Microsoft cannot guarantee complete accuracy of the translations.

When to consult a medical professional

Medical and health information on Microsoft is intended to be used for informational purposes only and is not intended to be used as medical advice or to replace the guidance from a medical professional, fitness expert or nutritionist. Contact a healthcare provider if you have a medical concern, or before taking any new medications, starting a fitness program, or changing your diet. In the event of a medical emergency, call your doctor or local emergency number immediately.
