Change how you view your Outlook calendar

Select a tab option below for the version of Outlook you're using. What version of Outlook do I have?

Note

If the steps under this New Outlook tab don't work, you may not be using new Outlook for Windows yet. Select Classic Outlook and follow those steps instead.

Calendar Peek, List view and Schedule view are not available in new Outlook at this time.

Change to Day, Work Week, Week, or Month view in new Outlook

  1. On the navigation bar, select Calendar icon Calendar.
  2. On the Home tab, select the view you want.

Select a different start day to begin the week in new Outlook

  1. Select Calendar icon Calendar.
  2. In the View tab, select Calendar settings.
  3. Under Calendar appearance, select the drop down under Show the first day of the week as: and select Monday.
  4. Select Save.

Change your work hours and location in new Outlook

Note

This feature can only be used with work or school accounts that have a qualifying Microsoft 365 subscription.

  1. Select Calendar icon Calendar.

  2. In the View tab, select Calendar settings > Work hours and location.

  3. Under Work hours and location select the days of your work week.

    Tip

    You also have the option to set your location. Learn more at Set your work hours and location in Outlook.

  4. Click Save.

View two time zones in the Calendar view in new Outlook

  1. Select Calendar icon Calendar.
  2. In the View tab, select Calendar settings.
  3. Select Add time zone.
  4. In the Other time zones list, select the time zone you'd like to add.
  5. Type a location or time zone in the Label box.
  6. Select Save.
