There are different ways to remove apps and programs, so if you can't find the one you're looking for, you can try another location. Note that some apps and programs are built into Windows and can't be uninstalled.

Note: If you are in tablet mode, desktop icons are not displayed.To see your desktop icons in tablet mode, go to Start > Settings > System > Tablet, then select Change additional tablet settings.Under When I'm using tablet mode, make sure that Hide app icons on the taskbar and Automatically hide the taskbar are both set to Off.

Change the size of your desktop icons. To resize desktop icons, right-click (or press and hold) the desktop, point to View, then select Large icons, Medium icons, or Small icons.

Publish an app. Whether you’re a professional or a citizen developer, you can publish an app from Manage your apps. Select Upload an app and choose the option you want: Upload a custom app: Sideload an app to test it as it's being developed or to use it without submitting it to your org or to Partner Center.

Repair programs in Control Panel. Select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Repair if it's available.If it isn't available or doesn't fix the problem, select Reset.

Windows 10 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode. Switching out of S mode is one-way. If you make the switch, you won't be able to go back to Windows 10 in S mode.

Download and install the My Apps Secure Sign-in Extension. Download and install the My Apps Secure Sign-in Extension, if you're prompted. This extension helps you use your desktop browser to use single sign-on with your organization's cloud apps.
