Microsoft apps built for two screens

Surface Duo combines the Google AndroidTM operating system with the best Microsoft 365 apps—including apps like Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft Edge, and more. All these Microsoft apps are built for Surface Duo to help you get more done throughout your day.

Since it runs on Android, you can download any other apps and games you want from the Google Play Store. (Some apps and features may require a wireless plan, additional subscriptions, or fees.)

Two screens that adapt to you

Surface Duo has a Revolutionary Hinge, so you can fold it however you want. It adapts to you. Hold it like a book and have tow apps open side-by-side with one on each screen. No need to switch back and forth between two apps anymore. To learn more, see Different ways to use Surface Duo or open Tips on your Surface Duo.

Stay in the know—even when your device is closed

Even when your Surface Duo 2 is closed, you can stay on top of things. The Glance Bar shows incoming calls or messages—including ones you might have missed. When you plug in Surface Duo, you'll see the current battery level.

Take great-looking pictures day or night

Don't miss a moment with the dynamic triple lens camera. Whether it's a bright sunny day or a dark night sky, your pictures look sharp and detailed. Night mode makes sure your pictures look great even when there's not a lot of light. And because the Camera app spans across both screens automatically, you can take pictures and review as you go to make sure you get the pictures you want. For more info, see Take pictures and videos with Surface Duo.
