Symptoms
Assume that you use DBCC CLONEDATABASE to clone a primary database in SQL Server 2019. When you run the command DBCC CHECKDB on the cloned database, you receive the following error message:
Msg 8992, Level 16, State 1, Line LineNumber
Check Catalog Msg 3853, State 1: Attribute (data_space_id=ID) of row (partition_scheme_id=ID,destination_id=ID) in sys.destination_data_spaces does not have a matching row (data_space_id=ID) in sys.data_spaces.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
