Symptoms
When you call a telephone number by using Microsoft Skype for Business 2016 in a Lync SDK application (for example, the Microsoft Sales Experience (MSX) tool), the call fails.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install the November 3, 2020, update (KB4486710) for Microsoft Skype for Business 2016.
