Symptoms
When you execute a query that uses a table with a clustered columnstore index on an instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2014, and the DATE_CORRELATION_OPTIMIZATION database setting is turned on, a severe error may occur during query compilation. Additionally, a dump file may be generated.
Resolution
The issue was first fixed in the following SQL Server cumulative update:
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. View the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:
