Symptoms

When DATA_CONSISTENCY_CHECK is being executed for a system-versioned temporal table and an error occurs on memory allocation, a memory leak in MEMORYCLERK_SOSNODE within the SQL Server engine might occur.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is included in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:

Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. Check out the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:

Workaround

To work around this issue, add the ALTER TABLE clause in your CREATE TABLE statement.
