In this scenario, the startup process stops responding at a black screen. CAUSEThis issue occurs because the one of the following applications does not clean up all the page table entries for the pages that were freed:
RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
