In previous versions of SQL Server, we used the Multiprotocol Network library to encrypt the data between the client and server. During this session, we will talk about the different methods of using SSL encryption as well as different methods of deploying it. We will also review some of the known issues that you may encounter when you set up SSL encryption for the first time.
