Description of the hotfix rollup package for ASP.NET 2.0: April 2009

SUMMARY

Microsoft has released a hotfix rollup package for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 to correct the ASP.NET 2.0 problems that are described in the following articles in Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed to apply this hotfix. You must apply this hotfix on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

Restart requirement

You may have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix if any of the affected files are in use when you install it. You may not have to restart the system if you close all ASP.NET Web sites before you install this hotfix.

File information

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
