"Subquery returned more than 1 value" returned during Database Configuration when upgrading Opalis Integration Server

The following error is received while performing the Database Configuration step of the Opalis Integration Server upgrade:

"Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression. The statement has been terminated."


Active and/or pending policy instances were not stopped prior to performing the upgrade resulting in unexpected entries existing in the POLICY_PUBLISH_QUEUE table.


Clear all entries from the POLICY_PUBLISH_QUEUE table and run the Database Configuration step again.  To clear all active and pending policy instances, execute the following T-SQL statement using Microsoft SQL Management Studio or Oracle SQL-Plus:
