SUMMARY

Although spaces are allowed in NetBIOS computer names in Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, spaces are not allowed in NetBIOS computer names in Windows 2000.

This change was made to prevent customers from choosing a NetBIOS computer name that is an invalid DNS name.
