SUMMARY

Windows 2000 Setup upgrades all Intel-based (x86) computers running version 4.7 or earlier of a Novell client to version 4.51.

MORE INFORMATION

The purpose of the upgrade is to ensure that the Novell client is fully compatible with Windows 2000. Although this upgrade does provide version 4.51 functionality, some features such as 16-bit support may be lost. Please contact Novell for a full version of the Windows 2000 client.

Support for the upgraded client and all Novell clients is provided by Novell. Support for the Gateway Services for NetWare (GSNW) and Client Services for NetWare (CSNW) NetWare Core Protocol (NCP) clients is provided by Microsoft and is in no way effected by this upgrade. English, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian and Japanese Novell clients are all upgraded to version 4.51.
