Banner Page Printed Even Though It Is Disabled

SYMPTOMS

If you print to a NetWare printer queue on a Windows 2000-based server on which Gateway Services for NetWare (GSNW) is installed, a banner page may be printed even though the option to print a banner page is disabled.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if the Windows 2000-based server is restarted and no one logs on to the console.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, log on to the server and then log off of the console.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.
