During the text portion of Windows 2000 Setup, multiple unpartitioned spaces may appear on a single hard disk. When this occurs, it may appear that it is not possible to use all the available unpartitioned space on the disk in a single partition, and you may be unable to delete the extra unpartitioned spaces.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you have deleted a logical drive from an extended partition, and have not yet removed the extended partition.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue:
