SYMPTOMS

After you install Internet Connection Sharing (ICS), you are prompted to restart your computer after you view the properties for the TCP/IP bindings in the Network tool in Control Panel even if you make no changes. This occurs only once.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, click Cancel when you are prompted to restart the computer.
