Cannot Browse Shared Printers When Using More than One Print Spooler

SYMPTOMS

If you create more than one print spooler in a resource group, one or more print spoolers may not work properly or work intermittently. You may also not be able to browse to shared printers from client computers.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because you can only have one print spooler resource in a resource group. The print spooler resource depends on a storage resource and a network name resource.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, create additional print spooler resources in different resource groups with the required dependent resources.
