This article explains the requirements for specifying a domain name for the Windows 2000 Quality of Service (QoS) Admission Control Service to operate in a Kerberos authentication environment that is not Windows 2000-based.

When you configure the Windows 2000 QoS Admission Control Service (ACS) to operate in a Kerberos authentication environment other than Windows 2000, you must enter the domain name as a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the ACS server in uppercase letters, for example:
DEVELOPMENT.MICROSOFT.COM
In addition, you must create a user account named AcsService with a property of DES Encryption Only.
