Description of the Microsoft Windows Registry
NOTE: The procedures in this article only apply if you have installed Outlook with the Corporate or Workgroup option. With this option, you can use Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) services. To determine your installation type, click About Microsoft Outlook on the Help menu. If you have the Corporate or Workgroup installation, you see "Corporate or Workgroup". SUMMARY When you add the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol
(LDAP) directory service to your Outlook profile, the default maximum number of
matches that are returned when you perform a search is 100. Although there is
no way to modify this setting in Outlook, you can modify it in the registry.
MORE INFORMATIONWARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious
problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft
cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry
Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
If the LDAP server returns too few entries, you do not receive an error message. If you receive the following error message, the Exchange Server Maximum Number of Search Results setting has been exceeded:
Unable to display results because too many entries in the Internet Directory
match your search criteria (11). | Article Translations
