When you attempt to start Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Help, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
MSOHLP caused an IPF in module HHCTRL.ocx at registry Similar behavior may occur in some other Microsoft Windows programs, but in these programs, the Help file opens as expected. CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the ActiveX control Hhctrl.ocx has become corrupted. Only Help files in the compiled HTML HELP (*.chm) format require Hhctrl.ocx; the older WinHelp (*.hlp) files open without Hhctrl.ocx.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, replace the corrupted Hhctrl.ocx file.
To replace the corrupted Hhctrl.ocx file, you must locate the file on your hard disk, locate an uncorrupted copy of the file, and then copy the file to the correct location on your hard disk. To do this on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, follow these steps: NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
