SYMPTOMS

When you upgrade your previous version of Windows to Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me), you may receive the following error message after you restart Windows Me:
GoBack is currently Disabled
Would you like to re-enable GoBack?
If you click Yes, you receive a prompt to restart the system. GoBack does not remain enabled after repeated restarts.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if a version of GoBack earlier than 2.2 is installed on your computer. The real-mode support available on versions earlier than GoBack 2.2 has been removed from Windows Me.

STATUS

Contact Adaptec Corporation or Wild File for a version of GoBack compatible with Windows Millennium Edition.
