Multiple LDAP Binds to the Same Connection Cause Memory Leak

SYMPTOMS

On a Windows 2000-based domain controller, multiple Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) binds over the same connection to that domain controller cause a memory leak.

RESOLUTION

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000.

This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2.
