The "have server reply using a specific message" rule does not send a message as expected in Outlook

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You configure a rule by using the have server reply using a specific message option in one of the following versions of Microsoft Outlook:
  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2003
  • Microsoft Outlook 2002
In this rule, if you specify the e-mail ID of your primary Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox as the recipient of the specific message, the rule does not trigger the message.

Note The rule works correctly for other e-mail IDs.
