SYMPTOMS

During a sound event, or when you start or shut down your computer, you may receive the following error message:
A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028:xxxxxxx in VXD Emu10k1(01)+xxxxxxxx

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you have an outdated Sound Blaster Live! driver installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, contact Creative Technology Ltd. to obtain the most up-to-date Sound Blaster Live! audio driver.
