MORE INFORMATION

Moving Messages

You have created a couple of folders in which to place your messages, so now you need to move the messages into the appropriate storage locations. Follow these steps:
  1. With the Inbox folder selected in the folder list and its contents displayed in the workspace, select both the reply and the forwarded message about the letter to Al Pine by selecting one, holding down the Shift key, and selecting the other.
  2. With the messages highlighted, drag them to the Clients folder. When you release the mouse button, Outlook moves the messages from the Inbox folder to the Clients folder.
  3. Move the Confirm Conference Room message from the Inbox folder to the Coworkers folder.
  4. Next click the Folder List's Close button to close it and then choose Outlook Bar from the View menu to redisplay the Outlook bar.
  5. In the My Shortcuts group on the Outlook bar, click first the Coworkers icon and then the Clients icon to view their contents in the workspace.
