SYMPTOMS

You may be unable to transfer some or all of the images from your Nikon digital camera to your Windows XP-based computer.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the PTP driver is not propagating the necessary vendor-defined events to the WIA service.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
