SYMPTOMS

When you leave your computer with a Synaptics TouchPad installed idle for 15-20 minutes, you may receive the following error message:
Syntpenh.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you view the data that the error report contains, the following error signature information may be listed:
   App Name      App Version  Module Name   Module Version  Offset

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, obtain and install an updated driver for your Synaptics TouchPad from the following Synaptics Web site:
