Desktop Application Director 9 May Cause an Error Message

SYMPTOMS

You may receive the following error message:
Dad9.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
This error message may occur if the following conditions exist:
  • WordPerfect Office2000 version 9, with default settings, is installed.
  • Desktop Application Director 9 is running.
  • You make changes to the Windows appearance or theme, or you adjust the Display properties.
If you view the data that the error report contains, the following error signature information is listed:

CAUSE

This issue occurs if you change the display settings while you are running WordPerfect.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do not change the display settings while WordPerfect is running.
