When you are using your Epson Perfection 1250 scanner, you may receive the following error message:
Epson Perfection 1250 Scanner has encountered a problem and must be shut down. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This issue may occur because the Epson Perfection 1250 scanner driver is not completely compatible with Windows XP.
