After you use NT Backup to restore a complete Windows 2000-based computer and system state, network adapter drivers, HBA adapter drivers, and other device drivers may not work correctly. This problem typically occurs only when more than one of each device is present in the computer during the backup/restoration process.
CAUSE
Limitations of the system state restoration process prevent specific registry keys from being recovered. This may cause the system to not be able to properly enumerate all the peripheral devices on the computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, delete and re-install each affected device after you complete the restoration:
