1394 debugging cannot connect when the computer is starting and therefore cannot be used to debug drivers that are loaded at boot time.
CAUSE
1394 debugging cannot connect at boot time because the 1394 host controller does not power up into a D0 (D-zero, fully powered on) device power state. By default, the 1394 host controller is set to the D3 power state, which is powered off or sleep state. RESOLUTIONWorkaroundA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft.
