personal folder (.pst) file to a public folder, you may receive one of the
following error messages: Can't move the items. The item
could not be moved. It was either already moved or deleted, or access was
denied.
-or-
Can't copy the items. Could not make
another copy of the item. The original was either already moved or deleted, or
access was denied.
-or-
Can't move the items. You don't have
permission to create an entry in this folder. Right-click the folder, and then
click Properties to check your permissions for the folder. See the folder owner
or your administrator to change your permissions.
-or-
Can't move the items. You do not have
sufficient permission to perform this operation on this object. See the folder
contact or your system administrator. CAUSE This issue may occur if an explicit deny is set for the
Everyone group on one of the following permissions on the root public folder
tree:
RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, remove the explicit Deny for the Everyone group on these permissions:
MORE INFORMATION The "Create named properties in the information store"
permission must not be set to Deny for the Everyone group
because the message that you are copying or moving to the public folder may
contain Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) named properties.
MAPI propagates above 0x8000 ("User-defined Name-to-id mapped
property"). You can use MAPI viewer tools such as Mdbvue32, Mapidump, Mfcmapi, and Outspy to view these MAPI-named properties. APPLIES TO
