Symptoms

The keys on the remote sensor device appear to be stuck and repeat.

Cause

This problem occurs because there are two buffer overrun issues in the remote sensor firmware.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, download and install the appropriate driver from the Microsoft Windows Update Web site:

http://update.microsoft.com

(http://update.microsoft.com)

The driver detects the version of the firmware in the attached remote sensor and it upgrades the firmware if it is required.

Workaround

To work around this problem if you do not install the driver from the Windows Update site, use either of the following methods:

Unplug the remote sensor device, and then plug it back in.

-or-
Turn off your computer, unplug the power cord, wait 30 seconds, plug the power cord back in, and then restart the computer.
