SYMPTOMS

When you view a document that contains text that, in turn, contains certain special characters, an unexpected blank space may be inserted after the special character. This problem occurs with certain accented characters, such as Hebrew characters or Greek characters that use an acute accent (') or a grave accent (`). You may experience this problem when you select the text that contains the character in .chm files or in .html files, or when you view documents by using certain programs such as Microsoft WordPad.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you use fonts where the width of the characters is 0 (zero). In this scenario, the 0-width characters are not displayed correctly.
