SYMPTOMS

When you create a new user and make this user a part of the Users group, when the new user logs on to the computer, an event ID message similar to the following message is logged in the security log:

RESOLUTION

Service pack information

Hotfix information

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2.
